WEB Seth Brooks Binzer, better known by his stage name Shifty Shellshock, was an American musician and lead singer of the 2000s-era rock-rap band Crazy Town. He died at his Los Angeles home on Monday, June 24, at the age of 49.

Background

Binzer was born on August 23, 1974, in Los Angeles and raised in Southern California. He formed Crazy Town in 1995 with Bret Mazur, known as Epic. The band's biggest hit was the 2000 single "Butterfly," which topped the charts in several countries.

After Crazy Town disbanded in 2003, Binzer pursued a solo career and appeared on reality shows such as "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" and "Sober House."
